How the award |
The award will be used by the parents association to carry out badly needed updates to the All Saints school swimming pool. The pool gives the children the opportunity to enjoy swimming lessons, enhance their water-confidence and improve their personal safety when in open water.
The swimming pool will benefit from new rust-proof grab rails (£330), galvanised wall panels (£365) polystyrene insulation (£220), and upvc wall cladding (£460), enabling energy to be saved as well as retaining higher water temperatures. This will make swimming lessons safer and more comfortable for the children. |
