How the award |
Last year the club entered the Young Farmers county tug of war competition. They trained weekly and worked hard as a team. They won the county round and then represented Dorset at South West Area where they came a very creditable third. The members are keen to enter the competition again and do even better, so they have been fundraising to buy their own boots, team shirts and equipment, rather than having to borrow from other clubs. The award will be used to buy the club its own tug of war rope and support belts. This will enable it to practice using proper competition quality equipment. |
