How the award |
In 2014 Amateur Players of Sherborne celebrated its 80th anniversary. It had been apparent for some years that its scenery flats, while not original, were quite old and just holding up after years of repainting and being moving about. The award will be used to purchase the materials needed to construct replacements for the 6 main flats that are used at the back of the stage as well as their smaller flats. The Amateur Players of Sherborne members will build the flats themselves to minimise costs. |
