The Oborne Play Equipment Association oversees the maintenance and up keep of the play area. They aim to keep it an inviting place for children of all ages to come and play. To achieve this they need to continue to offer a wide range of equipment for the children to play on. The only swing in the playing field was not meeting the needs of all the children so the Community Fund Award has been put towards the cost of replacing it with two new swings one a birds nest and the other an original swing. The children absolutely love the birds nest swing (and so do the adults too!).
