How the award |
The award will be used to purchase a 10 hold rock wall for older children to climb up the side of our existing play tower and to enclose the base of the play tower with wooden walls to create a safe ground level play house for younger children who cannot get up to the top of the play tower yet. The installation costs of the rock wall will be meet from the profits of this year's duck race. |

Ellen Hughes, who organised the Community Fund application, has sent in a photograph of the playtower now that its adaption has been completed following the fixing of the climbing wall and the enclosure of the base to form a play house area. The photograph shows some very happy children from Nether Compton enjoying the finished facility. |
