How the award |
Milborne Port Cricket Club are updating their facilities to support youth sport in the village. Concurrently the club have raised funds for a new pavilion and public toilets costing £100,000. With all this going on, they have been left with little time and fundraising contacts to raise the funds required for a movable practice net which is necessary for youth cricket. The new nets will mean a huge change for the future of the club. To have them in place this year will enable the club to save money spent on hiring a hall. In addition they will encourage Youth Cricket and community spirit in their Village. |
