How the award |
The award will be used to part fund our club and activity group co-ordinator, who manages and runs the two monthly club meetings we hold in Sherborne. Each month a social club and a handicraft club is held at Richmond Green in Sherborne. The co-ordinator manages and runs clubs and groups in other parts of Dorset 3 days a week. The project costs £16,788 which covers one years salary and associated costs, including home office expenses and travel. For the financial year 2016/17 the Dorset Blind Association has so far secured nearly £12,000. The Community Fund award will make a contribution towards the remainder and will secure the monthly clubs at Richmond Green in Sherborne. |
