How the award will be used	DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCE BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE PLAYPARK COMMITTEE THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO PROCEED THIS YEAR. THEY HAVE THEREFORE HAD TO DECLINE THE AWARD AND WILL RE-APPLY WHEN THE SITUATION HAS BEEN RESOLVED. . The current lease for the land on which the existing playpark stands is due to expire within three years, earlier if possible. An agreement is in place to use part of the Village Hall land for a new playpark covering a similar area. Most of the current equipment can be re-erected but our slide is too large and will have to be replaced. A new infant area is included in our current plans. The award will be used towards the cost of the groundworks, new safety surface and fencing of the whole area. The labour element will be covered by numerous volunteers.
