How the award |
The award represents 20% of the cost of delivering a beneficial summer theatre school project. 'Take the Lead' will offer: - 1x5 day show build week, engaging 30 young people, who work together to devise, develop and then perform a unique show. - 1x2 day workshop for 20 x 8 to 11 year olds to develop their confidence and theatre skills. - In addition, up to 6 young people will be given the opportunity to develop their skills as Youth Theatre Leaders through working with professional theatre practitioners. - The benefits will be, increased confidence,self esteem, skills,new friends and sense of achievement. |
