How the award |
The award will be used to help pay for the direct work with families in the DT9 area. Home-Start West Dorset will recruit and train further volunteers to support additional families. The funding will also support 10 current volunteers helping to cover travel costs, ongoing training and supervision. The training increases skills and confidence to support families with a variety of challenges. It includes safeguarding and protection of children, working with parents coping with poor mental health and encouraging the emotional well being of their children |
