How the award |
The award will be used to provide 3 subsidised professional training sessions at the Sherborne Area Youth & Community Centre in Tinneys Lane,Sherborne covering mandatory subjects for those working with vulnerable people such as youth leaders, volunteers and carers.
These sessions cover Safeguarding/Child Protection, Positive Behaviour Management, Dementia or Autism Awareness; including design, delivery, admin and evaluation of the training and certification with information packs.
Providing local community groups and family carers with up to date, relevant information and professional advice on issues affecting those in their care for a contribution of £10 per person. |
