How the award |
The award will be used to create a quiet garden reflective area at the school. It will be a place where children can escape from the busy playground if they would prefer to sit quietly, read or play quiet games. During lesson time it will also be an area which can be used for outdoor learning. the school is very fortunate to have a garden designer and a landscape gardener among their parents, so with their expertise they need a relatively small amount of funding for the materials (seating, wood, gravel, plants etc.). Their vision is to create an attractive and beneficial area for the whole school to use. |
