How the award
will be used

We will be buying four Trangia 25-2UL lightweight stoves for our Guide and Ranger unit at a cost of £70 each. These stoves will be used by Patrols on expedition type camps or hikes. At the moment cooking 'on the move' can only be carried out by meeting the girls en route with our gas stoves, as these are too heavy and bulky to carry. The new lightweight stoves will open up a new avenue of adventure for our very active unit of Guides and Rangers.
