The RCSCF grant will be used to kick start the Rendezvous appeal to fund the refurbishment of the IT Computer suite. The Rendezvous gives young people the chance to take GCSE equivalent English and Maths qualifications in an informal and relaxed setting. Passing an English and Maths qualification can change lives.

The Rendezvous training room has recently been refurbished turning it into a bright airy space for young people to learn. The centre now needs to do the same with its IT computer suite as it is really important that the students also have access to reliable computers for their sessions

Every year around 20 young people are involved with weekly sessions at the Rendezvous to obtain these qualifications. If successful they are able to go on to bigger and better things.
