The RCSCF Community Fund Award will enable the school to re-vamp a ‘modular reading corner’ of the library. It will provide flexible seating for the children to sit and read on their own, with their ‘reading buddies’ or to adults. The children have already made some decorative pieces for the new library area, books have been sorted and new titles added. To complete it they will use the award to purchase the one missing item, the seating. The reading corner will complete the library area, making it a bright and comfortable place for children to read and learn to love books.

All children in the school will benefit from the project, encouraging them to read on their own, to each other, to teachers and to volunteers from the community who come into school to help.
