How the award |
The award will be used to purchase a digital microscope & computer screen as part of larger project to convert an underused admin office into a natural history room. The museum is committed to education re. local flora/fauna & providing info on climate change & other issues. The project will enable use of items now in reserve, as well as the purchase of living specimens & interactive displays. It will expand the range it can offer visitors & enable partnerships with DWT & Quarr Nature Reserve. The work will be carried out over next 6 months. |
