How the award |
The award will be used to help pay for the costs of their volunteers in the DT9 area, enabling them to increase the number of volunteers and help more families. Volunteers are trained to give them the skills and confidence to listen to the needs of the family, signpost them to local professional services, provide emotional support and have an understanding of safeguarding issues. They also have ongoing training, support and supervision to ensure they give their best support for the families. |
